No — but you do need to complete an initial assessment before your first class or program session. This is how we make sure the program is appropriate for you and that we understand your starting point.
A 45-minute one-on-one session with one of our physiotherapists before you join a class or program. It covers your health and injury history, movement screening, goal setting, and program suitability. It's how we make sure we're building your program around you specifically.
Move Well is open to most people — it's supervised exercise focused on general recovery, strength, and mobility. Specialty Programs (Hip & Knee OA, Lower Back, Shoulder (Rotator Cuff), Osteoporosis) are condition-specific and more structured, designed for people managing a particular diagnosis. Your physiotherapist can advise which is right for your situation.
Yes. Private health fund rebates are available for our physiotherapist-led group exercise classes if your policy includes Extras cover. Hospital-only cover does not include physiotherapy rebates.
Your rebate depends on your health fund, level of cover and annual limits. If you’re unsure what you’re covered for, check with your health fund before your appointment.
We've seen great results with our existing program participants — we'd love to help reduce your pain, improve your function and get you moving well again.
